Flu Vaccinations
We recommend annual flu vaccination, especially for those with a higher risk from severe influenza symptoms or those planning on travelling to the Northern Hemisphere.
The seasonal influenza (or flu) vaccine is formulated to cover the strains most likely to be present during New Zealand’s winter these are typically flu strains that have been most common in the preceding Northern Hemisphere winter.
